Four for Friday: Why you should be using more Calls to Action. Now.

Don’t leave them hanging.

The Importance of Calls to Action

On Fridays, I give you the four best workflow and website tips of the week. And we call it Four for Friday. Welcome!

Happy Friday! As always, we start with Housekeeping. My December dates for the all-day Honeybook intensive are officially gone, but if you want to set up or fluff up your account before 2023, email me back, and we'll see what we can do Christmas week. I'm going to be around, so I may as well help you out. And, what better gift is there for yourself than a streamlined, scaleable business? Exactly.

Who else is obsessed with the World Cup? The teams I like all suck at penalty kicks, apparently, but still, so much fun to watch!

So, I'm working on another CRM-Website project for a photographer this month, and the importance of CTA - Calls to action - keeps coming up. They're soo important when you're talking to your inquiries and your clients, and here are four reasons why and how to do them.

1. Calls to action get you hired.

How? Calls to action move your inquiries to the next step in booking you as quickly as possible. If you need to meet or talk with them, let them know how to schedule that. If you need more information about their event or project, how do they send it to you? What if they just need to pay you, how do they do that? Don't leave the ball in their court, and don't leave them hanging!

2. Clarity for all.

A confused customer never buys. And a confused client doesn't trust. Both of those are bad for you, obviously. Using Calls to Action in all your communication keeps things straight: "This is what I need from you, and this is when," "This is what's coming up next, and this is how to get started," and the most important, "Here is how to reach me if you have any questions."

3. CTA gets you paid.

Telling your clients when, how, and where they can pay you are all CTAs that need to be sent with every invoice. Are you doing this, or are you assuming they got it last time?

4. Use them early and often.

Calls to action should be part of every way you communicate with clients, whether during a project, in your marketing, or on your website. Everyone gets what they want and what they need!

What else do you need to streamline, save time, and continue making money into 2023? Let's talk - click the Contact button below to schedule a free consultation next week. CTA alert!

Have a great weekend, and I'll talk to you soon,

Elizabeth
