Is your website just SITTING there?

I will be the first person to say that having a website is an essential part of your business, a one-stop stop "shop" for all things you and what you do, which is a powerful tool. Some entrepreneurs stop at "essential for business" - everyone has one, right? - but don't realize exactly how far they can take that, not just for marketing, but for business management. Here's four things you can try:

  1. Create social media page(s) - instead of sending the link on your Instagram/Clubhouse/Twitter bio to a third party site, send it to a special page on your site. Here's mine for Instagram. Not only are you saving the SEO juice for your own site, it's all your branding, you can change it up easily, and your viewers don't have to go hunting for it.

  2. Add your contact information on your website - I know, I sound like a broken record on this one, but again, an email address makes it easy to find you, a phone number (doesn't have to be direct)makes it easier to reach you. Adding your city and state causes less confusion, and makes Google very, very happy.

  3. Expand your contact form - this will be a time saver for you and your future clients. Instead of asking the bare minimum, add more in-depth questions that will tell you if and how you can help them. Less back and forth, more fodder for an actual conversation.

  4. Upload your downloads - You upload forms, questionnaires (also a good way to use a contact form), whatever you normally send your clients, and then direct them to that page on your website. It's a good use of the space you've already paid for, and it's a great customer service tool.

And these are just four ideas for optimizing your website to serve your business and your clients! If you would like to find out what else is possible, book a quick 30 minute consultation with me here.

I’ll talk to you soon,
