The Money in the Maybes

Are you tired of missing out on potential income because your leads ghosted after you responded to their inquiry?

Put these four proven money-making tactics in the "I hope you guys are doing this, but if not - do this" column:

1. Remember that everyone is busy and has the attention span of goldfish these days. That includes you, I'm not just not talking about them! People are looking for planners, florists, and photographers, yes, but you're not the only one they've reached out to, and in the meantime, life, work, etc, go on. You haven't necessarily been rejected, you might have fallen off their radar. That means their ghost inquiry is a "Maybe." And you can make money with that.

2. Who are these ghosts, anyway? - Who exactly did you respond to that you haven't heard from yet? Go through your email inbox or the inquiries list in your Honeybook, Dubsado, or (your CRM) account, andidentify who never got back to you and if you still have their date open.

3. Send a simple personalized email or message - Subject line, "Are you still looking for (service) on (date)? In the email body, use their name, and confirm that you're still available to help. If they originally reached out to you over social media, send your message that way. Get top of mind again.

4. Pull details from their original inquiry. In your message, share valuable information that will help them make an informed decision to respond to you. Is their venue one of your favorites, do you have a photo or video of an amazing example of your work? Let them know that not only are you available, you're awesome.

Don't forget a call to action - tell them if they still need you, they should respond back asap to get started.

So many of my clients literally made thousands of dollars by doing this!

Remember, following up with ghost inquiries is key to turning missed opportunities for them into profits for YOU. Don't give up; reach back out and make the sale.
