Yup, Honeybook Can Grow Your Email List
You wouldn’t think Helen Keller would have anything to do with Honeybook, would you?
We each have our own secret language. A term for something that no one uses except us.
My favorite secret language phrase is "Helen Keller moment." Helen Keller was a deaf and blind woman in the 19th century who experienced a thunder-striking realization when she was a child, which led to her becoming a renowned author and speaker. Award-winning books and movies have been created about her.
The Helen Keller Moment happens when you've been trying to answer a question forever or staring at a problem for a while, and then allofasudden! The solution hits you. The Helen Keller moment is when you realize, "Oh, My God, that spells 'Water'!"
Last week, I was trying to figure out different ways to add my client’s inquiries to his newsletter list - with their consent. We talked about putting a checkbox in the contact form and one in his brochures and lead forms. Checkboxes get their consent, but he still has to add them to an email list manually. The manual stuff bugs.
I was sitting in my car eating fries- as one does - mulling this over in the back of my mind when it hit me:
The "Submit" button!
You can choose where to re-direct your clients after they hit Submit/Send on your contact form and in your smart files. For instance, after you fill out my contact form, you're sent to my appointment page.
You can re-direct your inquiries anywhere... so why not send them to your newsletter opt-in page??
That was the best high I've had all week.
See the how-to-video below, and let me know if you have any questions!
Honeybook also has Zapier triggers that can add inquiries to your Mailchimp email lists automatically.
There is always a way.
My clients come to me with ideas about how to customize their Honeybook accounts to the way they want to work with their clients. If you’re looking at your CRM and wondering what else it can do for you, sign up for a 15-minute consult, and I’ll show you.
I’ll talk to you soon,
Liz
