Honeybook Lead forms and Zelle payments? Let’s do this!

Dear Elizabeth,

I want to use lead forms for my photo pop-up sessions next month. I take credit cards normally, but Zelle is my performed form of payment for them, but the lead form won’t let my clients schedule their session without submitting the form unless they submit payment on the invoice. Is there a workaround?

Dear Popped,

Yeah, any lead form with an invoice or payment page can’t be submitted unless a payment is made - that’s the bad news. The good news is that you can create a form without that.

Do this:

  1. Duplicate your form and rename it something like, “Zelle (name of session).” Copy the link for the original lead form.

  2. Delete the invoice and payment pages on the Zelle form.

  3. Insert this text on the first page, either right above your main graphic or right after, “This is the form for Zelle Zelle payments. Please use this form to schedule your session and session options..Your total will show in the cart in the top right corner of this form. Please make your payment to (your Zelle email address or phone number) to complete your booking. If you wish to pay with a credit card, click here (link to original form).”

  4. Put the above text in at least one other place in the Zelle lead form towards the end. Repetition is your friend.

  5. Bonus points if you link the Zelle form to your main lead form, too!
